About Amparo:

Originally from Mexico, Amparo’s family predominantly resides there. A proud mother of four sons, Amparo has a strong passion for learning. Despite her busy schedule as a janitor, she actively pursues knowledge about her rights in the profession. Overcoming the fear of public speaking was one of Amparo’s significant challenges, and with the assistance of Centro Ya Basta, she tackled this obstacle. As a certified instructor, Amparo remains committed to personal growth while exuding confidence in her ability to empower both herself and her peers.

Amparo Gonzalez completed a 40-hour training course to become a certified professional instructor in the prevention of Sexual Harassment and Abusive behavior in the cleaning industry.
