About Geralia:

For the past 15 years, Geralia has worked in the cleaning industry and often faced uncomfortable situations without realizing they could be considered sexual harassment. The training from the Center Ya Basta was an eye-opening experience for her. She learned that the behavior she thought she had to tolerate and keep silent about was actually sexual harassment and that she had the right and power to take a firm stance to defend herself against workplace harassment. Geralia is certain that education is key and that individuals have the power to hold employers accountable. Now it’s her turn to train her colleagues on sexual harassment and violence in the workplace, ensuring they know their rights and how to assert them.

Geralia Rodriguez completed a 40-hour training course to become a certified professional instructor in the Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Abusive Behavior in the Cleaning Industry.
