About Abigail:

Abigail Sandoval was born and raised in Zapopan, Jalisco, where she grew up in a home with her siblings in a home marked by domestic violence. She lived some time in Tijuana before making her way to San Diego, where she married, raised four children, and faced domestic violence again. Abigail ultimately found the courage to divorce and reclaim her life. She discovered the Ya Basta Center, which was a turning point that stripped away the shame and silence that violence had built around her, and replaced it with knowledge, confidence, and purpose. Her greatest ambition is to continue growing within the Ya Basta center, to deepen her understanding of harassment and violence, and to be the person who gives others the information they need to protect themselves knowing firsthand what it means to need it.

Abigail Sandoval completed a 40-hour training course to become a certified professional instructor in the Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Abusive Behavior in the Cleaning Industry.
