About Raquel:
Raquel emigrated from Mexico to the United States over two decades ago. Married for 20 years, she is a proud mother of two adult children. Having experienced sexual harassment in her home country when she was 16, Raquel decided to obtain certification as an instructor at the Ya Basta Center to provide training on the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace.
She believes there is a lot of misinformation about the issue in the cleaning industry, but fortunately, it is now mandatory by law for employers to offer this type of training with certified instructors from the Ya Basta Center. Janitors will learn to recognize abuse and harassment in the workplace and its respective consequences, equipping them with the basic tools to never allow disrespect again.
Raquel Saldana completed a 40-hour training course to become a certified professional instructor in the Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Abusive Behavior in the Cleaning Industry.
